Dangerously Lyrics

This is gonna hurt but I blame myself first
'Cause I ignored the truth
Drunk off that love, my head up
There's no forgetting youYou've awoken me, but you're choking me
I was so obsessed
Gave you all of me, and now honestly, I got nothing leftI loved you dangerously
More than the air that I breathe
Knew we would crash at the speed that we were going
Didn't care if the explosion ruined me
Baby, I loved you dangerously
Mmmm, mmmm
I loved you dangerouslyUsually, I hold the power with both my hands
Tied behind my back
Look at how things change, 'cause now you're the train
And I'm tied to the trackYou've awoken me, but you're choking me
I was so obsessed
Gave you all of me, and now honestly, I got nothing left'Cause I loved you dangerously
More than the air that I breathe
Knew we would crash at the speed that we were going
Didn't care if the explosion ruined me
Baby, I loved you dangerouslyYou took me down, down, down, down
And kissed my lips quick goodbye
I see it now, now, now, now
It was a matter of time
You know I know, there's only one place this could lead
But you are the fire, I'm gasolineI love you, I love you, I love you
I loved you dangerously
Ooh, more than the air that I breathe
Oh now, knew we would crash at the speed that we were going
Didn't care if the explosion ruined me
Oh, oh baby, I loved you dangerouslyMmmm, mmmm
Ooh, I loved you dangerously
Ooh ooh, I loved you dangerously

Charlie Puth (born Charles Otto Puth, Jr., December 2, 1991 in Rumson, New Jersey, United States) is a American pop singer from New Jersey who gained his fame through YouTube. He is best known for his 2015 debut single "Marvin Gaye", which features vocals from Meghan Trainor. The single became a huge international success, reaching number one in Australia, Austria, Canada, Germany, New Zealand, Switzerland and the United States as well as the top ten in Ireland and France.

Charlie joined YouTube in September of 2009 and began to post his own acoustic covers. He is also an alumnus of the Berklee College of Music, which he graduated in 2013. In October 2011, Ellen DeGeneres announced that she had signed Charlie Puth and Emily Luther to her label after seeing their cover of Adele's "Someone Like You". Puth and Luther performed the song on the show. On January 25, 2012, they came back to The Ellen DeGeneres Show and performed Lady Antebellum's "Need You Now" and an original written by Puth titled "Break Again" (co-written with Robert Gillies). Charlie has since left eleveneleven and signed with Atlantic Records.

He co-wrote the song "Slow Motion" for Trey Songz and has arranged sessions with Jason Derulo and Lil Wayne. In an interview with Billboard, Puth explains the vibe he wanted for his upcoming EP. "I listened to a lot of Marvin Gaye and Motown records. When I was making my record, I just wanted to make this soulful sound. When Marvin Gaye made his music, he evoked this feeling that would reach everybody. Now, my record is also actually a musical assistance record".

In April 2015 he released "I Won't Tell a Soul", the second single from his upcoming EP, "Some Type of Love" released on May 1, 2015. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
